We should help those who need our help. Countries under communism are limited in terms of freedom. Stephen Ambrose supported President Truman's decision. He said that the United States will aid those in need, especially military wise.

1.- No, because is going against our law because the United States was a neutral country and helping other countries is taking a side.

I think President Truman was right in offering aid to other nations. Without the help, other countries could have fallen to outside pressures and could have possibly led to the downfall of the United States.

For the first questions I believe he shouldn't have offered the help of United States to other countries. If the united makes many alliances then the countries where the alliances where made would always be asking to fight with them.

The United States should offer help to the other nations fighting communism. Although the US needs to avoid such things and focus on itself, this ensures that the US won't face extra countries that turned communist if there is ever a fight.

The United States did good in offering aid to the nations facing threat because it assisted them in stopping the spread of communism. If aid wasn't provided, communist invasions would have spread and worsened the problem. The United States would also acquire allies who were opposed to communism and could work together to stop it.

Truman's idea was not the best choice. This idea was not the best because the United States should be isolated and this is just getting them into problems.

I do not believe the United States should have offered financial aid to all nations in struggle. The reason why is because how will theses countries help us? What will we benefit of? We would just be loosing more money and unbalancing the economy. Later, society will loose money and cause inflation if they print more.

I think that the U.S offering aid to other countries is okay to a certain extent. If it's done too often, countries will rely on us only and we're already in debt so technically, we don't even have the money to be helping other countries.

The nation should not have offered such aid, unless the United States can afford it. Other nations may take advantage of this generosity, or they may find themselves with new and more problems. Stephen Ambrose viewed the Truman Doctrine as a document that took much persuasion to put together in order to help the greater good.

I think that so long as we are able to help others, we should. In the future, this may prove to be useful should we ever be in need of particular allies.

No I don't think the US should help other countries because this was a time were the US was in a neutral state. Helping other countries will make the US seen as an allied country and an enemie for another country.

The United States was wise to offer aid to the nations facing the "Red Scare" because if we were to remain indifferent to it, communism would spread globally and leave the United States without allies. The United States would be, eventually, overpowered and become communist herself.

The United States should help the countries in need so that they become allied and don't become communist. So if the United States offered aid to other nations it would be beneficial for peace and trust.
